Sun Acquisitions, a prominent mergers and acquisitions firm in Chicago, is thrilled to announce the successful sale of Chain O’ Lakes Transportation, a provider of alternative transportation solutions, to strategic acquirer JW Chicago. JW currently operates similar transportation operations in the northeast.
Chicago, IL — July 10, 2024 — Sun Acquisitions, a prominent mergers and acquisitions firm in Chicago, announced the successful sale of Chain O’ Lakes Transportation, a provider of alternative transportation solutions, to strategic acquirer JW Chicago.
During his tenure, Vincent held various positions across Credit Suisse, most recently as head of AES sales trading, based in London. His past positions included chief executive of foreign exchange broker Global Reach Group, as well as senior roles at Investment Technology Group, JP Morgan and Goldman Sachs.
This strategy allows them to offer a broader range of products to their existing customer base, fostering more comprehensive market penetration and often leading to increased sales. This culminated in Time Warner spinning off AOL in 2009, marking the end of what many consider one of the most notable failures in M&A history.
Like Saturn, Circuit City grew nationwide steadily, then peaked, circled the drain and died around 2009, when it was liquidated.
