UBS names new head of capital markets financing sales for Americas

UBS has appointed Carlos Salcedo head of capital markets financing sales Americas, according to an internal memo seen by The TRADE. Effective from 1 September, Salcedo will be based in New York, reporting to Dan Murphy, Americas head of franchise sales. Hosie took up the role on an interim basis in March.

RBC’s co-head of European electronic sales and trading, Bianca Gould, is set to leave the bank after almost three years as part of streamlining measures across the business. Gould joined RBC Capital Markets in October 2020 to co-lead its European low touch sales and trading business alongside Chris Parker who has been in the role since 2011.
