UK-based investment bank Peel Hunt appointed former head of electronic and program trading and sales at Numis Securities, Nishad Vallonthaiel, to head up its own electronic trading division. Also appointed to the electronic trading team at Peel Hunt alongside Vallonthaiel is Vinesh Chhaya, who joins the unit as a senior sales trader.

Figueiredo is a Citi veteran, having spent almost 35 years at the bank, most recently serving as global head of corporate sales and solutions in markets, leading a team spanning 65 jurisdictions. Prior to joining the French firm where he was employed as a sales trader for over five years, Lockley worked as a trader at broker GFI Group.
