Wells Fargo has appointed Jon Thorne as senior securities sales trading specialist, The TRADE can reveal. According to a post on social media, Thorne joins Wells Fargo from Credit Suisse, where he spent 13 and a half years. Most recently, Thorne served as a listed sales trader – a position he held for almost 11 years.
Stuart Lawrence has been appointed head of European equities trading at UBS AssetManagement four and a half years after he joined the firm in June 2019. He was most recently head of UK equity trading at UBS AssetManagement, having previously served as a high touch equity sales trader at Kepler Cheuvreux.
