Jefferies’ managing director and head of US equity distribution in Europe, Guy Trust, has left the bank after nearly a decade to join Daiwa CapitalMarkets Europe, The TRADE can reveal. Trust has an extensive career specialising in equities and arbitrage strategies.
A Citadel equity trader and senior associate has left the firm to join Ilex Capital, The TRADE can reveal. According to an update on his social media, Jack Boland has joined Ilex Capital in a US equity trading and global equitycapitalmarkets role.
Jamie McKenna was appointed vice president, senior global equity trader at State Street Global Advisors (SSGA) following almost two decades at GMO trading. His expertise includes equities, ETFs, merger arbitrage spreads, equity swaps, futures, options, and FX.

RBC has appointed Guy Chalkley as managing director, UK flow rates sales, according to an internal memo seen by The TRADE. Chalkley brings more than three decades worth of financial services to the role, in both portfoliomanagement and rates sales. Before joining RBC, Chalkley spent 11 years at NatWest Markets.
UBS appointed Carlos Salcedo head of capitalmarkets financing sales Americas, according to an internal memo seen by The TRADE. He joined Northern Trust in 2007 and has since worked in senior roles across portfoliomanagement, client management and sales.
Hosie originally joined Credit Suisse in 2017 as its head of equities Asia Pacific, later assuming responsibility of the asset class for both Asia Pacific and EMEA and eventually taking up the role in a global capacity in 2023.
